We’ve done the east, we’ve done the west and now it’s time for us to do the south – travel to the south of the USA that is.

According to Creative Holiday’s Managing Director, James Gaskell, ‘lesser-known’ destinations – particularly those in the south – are slowly but surely making their way onto the Aussie bucket list.

“Australians flocked to the USA while the dollar was at or above parity and have become keenly aware of the incredible breadth of destinations and experiences.”

James Gaskell, Creative Holiday Managing Director

“Just as travellers will return to Europe many times and focus on different countries, we are now seeing a real demand for previously lesser-known destinations.”

It’s not just about the cowboys, Aussies are also loving Miami.

But just because we’re mostly first-time visitors to these destinations, it doesn’t mean we’re relying on others to show us the way.

Creative Holidays is tapping into this growing group of Aussies travelling south with a new ‘Deep South’ section in the recently released 2015/16 USA brochure.
