Rail Europe GSAs together with Switzerland Tourism and the Swiss Travel System have announced the launch of their three-month The Swiss Travel Pass SuperStar Program.
Rail Europe GSAs (CIT Holidays, Go Holidays, Infinity Rail, Rail Plus AU & NZ & Rail Tickets), in conjunction with Switzerland Tourism and the Swiss Travel System have announced the launch of their three-month The Swiss Travel Pass SuperStar Program to run from 1 May – 31 July 2015.
Australia and New Zealand represent the newest markets for this program to be rolled out. The other international markets include Brazil, India, Singapore and the Middle East, all of which have received positive and encouraging responses from the trade.
Switzerland is increasingly popular among travellers and the Swiss Travel Pass has proven to be the best and most efficient way to travel through the country. This Q1 alone in 2015 has seen a 17% increase in the sale of these passes in Australia.
Essentially, this joint initiative aims to create even greater awareness of the Swiss Travel Passes among travel agents and tour operators in Australia and New Zealand. The program has been specially designed to help enhance agents’ knowledge of the suite of products available, thus equipping them with the confidence required to better promote the different Passes to their clients and their travel needs.
Top performers will be in the running to win an all-inclusive 7D/6N famil to Switzerland later in the year.
Over the course of the three-month program, agents will need to sell as many passes as they can and answer a series of quiz questions in the six modules of the program. While certificates will be awarded to agents who successfully complete all of the modules, there will also be prizes awarded each module including an 80cmVictorinox luggage valued at $600 for third place; a stylish Victorinox watch valued at $700 for second place; and a 64GB Apple iPad Air2 Wifi valued at $739 for first place.
In addition, top performers will be in the running to win an all-inclusive 7D/6N famil to Switzerland later in the year.
Agents must note that only Swiss Travel Pass products purchased through Rail Europe GSAs will be eligible. In Australia these are: CIT Holidays, Infinity Rail, Qantas/Viva Holidays/Rail Tickets & Rail Plus. In New Zealand these are: Go Holidays & Rail Plus.
