Jackson Hole celebrates 50 years and the world-class adventure destination has a bunch of exciting new products and events lined up for the upcoming winter season.
Jackson Hole Mountain resort (JHMR) views Australia as one of its most important markets. With Aussies in mind, JHMR has developed a wide variety of lift ticket and season pass products for 2015-16 winter season.
JHMR acknowledge that the Vail Resorts acquisition of Perisher has created competition for North American Resorts and more choices for the Australian skier and snowboarder, Jackson Hole continues to offer a totally unique experience for its visitors and competes form a value standpoint.

To celebrate the 50th anniversary in style Jackson Hole is launching new products and experiences for the 2015-16 winter season including:
New Teton Lift
Jackson Hole Mountain Resort will complete three years of terrain and lift construction for the 2015-16 season with the installation of a new detachable high-speed quad.
- The Doppelmayr lift install will take place during summer/fall 2015 and the Teton Lift unveiling and opening is set for 19th December, 2015.
- The lift boasts 1,650 vertical feet with an uphill capacity of 2,000 skiers per hour.
Piste Mountain Bistro
Piste Mountain Bistro opens this 2015-16 season as a place for guests to gather for lunch and dinner in a relaxing atmosphere. The Executive Chef Wes Hamilton will be overseeing the 150-seat restaurant and serve up a dynamic menu.

Jackson Hole’s Communications Manager, Anna N. Cole is very excited about the upcoming events for the winter season including the return of the legendary Powder 8s Contest, which will see two skiers cross-ski each other which will evoke memories from the 80s amongst older skiers.

- 24th September, 2015 – 50h Community Party & Movie Premier. Free outdoor celebration for the Jackson Hole community with live music, food, drinks and the premier of the film ‘Born to Be Wild’.
- 19th December, 2015 – Grand Opening of the Teton Lift & Piste Restaurant
- 5th – 7th March, 2016 – 50th Retro Reunion & Throwback Wednesday. Return of the legendary Powder 8s Contest, progressive decades parties throughout Teton Village, special reunion travel packages, live music and more.
- 17th – 20th March, 2016 – 3rd Annual Rendezvous Spring Festival. Lively weekend of nationally tourism acts performing free live concerts at the base of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and on the historic Town Square in downtown Jackson, WY.
