Brand USA has released a new knowledge sharing facility within the USA Discovery Program – the online training website for agents in Australia.
The Knowledge Forum allows users to ask a question which other members answer, providing an opportunity to share their insight into a specific destination. For each question asked the agent whose answer is found most useful will be recognised and ultimately rewarded with a ‘star member’ status. Users on the site can also vote the answer up and down on a live leader board.
The new peer to peer functionality follows the addition of yet another new destination badge, the Santa Monica Specialist badge having recently joined a suite of existing modules on the Program.
These include Big City Buzz, Great Outdoors, Winter Sports, Fly-Drive, Food & Drink, Coastal Escapes, Music, Culture & Heritage, Family Holidays, Las Vegas and Cirque du Soleil; as well as the Regional Expert badge, which users must complete initially.
“By creating the new Knowledge Forum element to the USA Discovery Program, we hope that agents will utilise the site even more frequently and ask their peers and colleagues for advice. This gives users the opportunity to learn more about the intricacies of the destination to develop their knowledge even further and, ultimately, to enhance their sales to the USA.”
Chris Thompson, President and CEO Brand USA
Brand USA Australia will have an incentive in place for one month from June 15th until July 12th, 2015. The agent who receives the most votes on an answer to a posted question on the Knowledge Forum will win an Apple Watch. Agents will have to be registered users of the Discovery Program, and have already completed their Regional Expert badge to qualify.
