It’s that time of the year again! Your clients (*cough* and you) have exactly seven days (six now) to pick up an incredible deal as part of this year’s Cruise Week.
The annual week-long sale kicked off yesterday when the new Cruise Week website went live. Completely redesigned, the fresh and easy-to-use site features 47 incredible cruise deals from Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) Australiasia’s cruise line members.
Offers vary from onboard credit, free Wi-Fi, free cabin upgrades, unlimited beverage packages, huge fare savings and more.
The team at KarryOn has worked their way through the list of deals and picked out nine we think you’re clients will love.
These are just a sample of what’s on offer. Click here for the full list of deals.
1. It’s a cruise deal that flies
APT is giving couples who book to travel together on any of the eight remaining 2015 departures of its 13-day Best of China luxury land and cruise holiday during Cruise Week (through a CLIA Member Travel Agent of course) one free return flight to China with Singapore Airlines.
That’s not all, the cruise line is also offering a saving of up to $500 per couple.
With the saving the journey is priced from just $5,145 per person, twin share, and takes guests from Beijing – where guests spend three nights at the five star Raffles Hotel – to Shanghai for a three night stay at the Fairmont Peace Hotel, and includes an exclusive luxury four night river cruise aboard the Sanctuary Yangzi Explorer and then two nights in Xi’an.
Flights are with Singapore Airlines or another airline of APT’s choosing. Offer is valid on all bookings made through CLIA Member Travel Agents between 7-14 September 2015.
2. Complimentary digs
Because when you’re not on the cruise ship or flying to the departure destination, you need somewhere to stay.
Tauck is giving travellers that book and deposit a 2016 land, river cruise or small ship cruise itinerary during Cruise Week (with a CLIA agent) two complimentary hotel nights.
Among the itineraries on offer is the Iceland: Land of Fire & Ice cruise which takes guests on an eight-day cruise aboard L’Austral to Iceland for volcanoes and glaciers plus rich history and more.
3. Secure it for less
Do you have clients a little like us that really want to book but don’t have enough to secure it?
No worries! Princess Cruises is offering a 50 percent reduced deposit on booking made with an accredited cruise specialist during Cruise Week.
Additionally, your customers will receive up to $100 onboard credit per stateroom.
The offer is available on select Princess cruises of seven-nights or longer. Onboard credit will be applied to the first two passengers in the stateroom only, up to a maximum of $50 per person ($100 per stateroom).
4. Cruise big save big
Royal Caribbean has gone all out, giving your clients savings, onboard credit and reduced deposits.
CLIA accredited agents can give customers 30 percent off per person on select Australia, New Zealand, South Pacific, Transpacific and Asia repositioning voyages.
For example, a client that books a 13-night Pacific Island Fusion cruise departing 5 November or 5 December this year, can secure the holiday from $1,299 – a saving of up to $560.
Additionally, they’ll receive US$200 onboard credit and secure it for the reduced 50 percent deposit.
As part of the ‘cruise big’ promise, Royal Caribbean’s eight-night Tropical Treats cruise departing 2 December or 31 January next year starts from $899 – a saving of $200.
5. No joke – huge savings
Couples looking to rekindle the love can do so with white glove butler service aboard a Silversea ship and save up to $600.
The cruise line is offering a saving of up to $300 per person on its 2015 and 2016 voyages booked during Cruise Week by a CLIA accredited agent.
Itineraries available are in Asia, the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, Alaska and the Kimberley.
But couples had better move quick! The offer is only available to the first 100 bookings.
6. More for the couples
Your loved up couples will look a little like Elena and Stefan from The Vampire Diaries after you book them a Scenic cruise in 2017 for 2016 prices and save them an additional $500 per couple.
The offer is limited to the first 100 bookings and is subject to availability.
A $1,000 per person refundable deposit is due within seven days of booking. Bookings and deposits must be made by 18 September 2015.
7. Don’t forget the singles
Avalon hasn’t forgotten about those solos.

The waived fee represents a saving of up to $6,496.

The offer is available on select itineraries, including a seven-night Hawaiian Islands cruise aboard Pride of America.
If your clients aren’t big drinkers, then they may enjoy free specialty dining; a free internet package; free shore excursions; or $25 onboard credit.
