The Langham, Sydney has taken out a global award in London last month as Most Prestigious Global Press Conference Venue; winning ahead of New York Palace and Raffles Dubai.
This win comes after a strong repositioning year for the hotel since re-opening doors after a grand transformation, with a strong push to convert high level celebrity clientele towards the hotel by running one of Australia’s most impressive VIP and media programs, which has proven very successful amongst the A-List crowd.
“We wanted to reposition as Sydney’s luxury, celebrity and fashion hotel and this global award absolutely acknowledges our efforts this year with very high profile media events”
Sonia Lefevre, General Manager

“This was further confirmed by the high calibre, A-List names that have been at the hotel in the last year for press junkets and press conferences; Nicole Kidman, Cate Blanchett, Khloe Kardashian, Gigi Hadid, Dita Von Teese, Drew Barrymore, Toni Collette and Robbie Williams to name but a few”.
“Congratulations on achieving excellence in your first year of re-opening and on becoming the media venue of choice in Australia” commented Ms. Dunton-Rose.
