After a two-year pause due to the pandemic, Evolution Travel Collective (ETC) and Scandinavian specialist 50 Degrees North have this week announced the re-start of their partnership within the APAC region.
From 1 May, Evolution Travel Collective (ETC) will again facilitate all on-ground representation to help the APAC travel industry and travel advisors realise the pent up demand for Scandinavia.
Prior to the pandemic, 50 Degrees North were one of ETC’s largest partners pre-covid and both parties say they are keen to pick up from where they left off.
ETC CEO Pete Rawley said “it’s great to re-start this next phase with the 50 Degrees North team. We have been doing some set-up behind the scenes for the past few months and think the APAC market is now ready for increased point of sale activity”.
Rawley was also quick to point out the credentials of their partner as a key reason for agents to utilise the expertise of 50 Degrees North, “The term market-leading gets thrown around a lot, but in this case, it is undisputed in terms of experience, expertise and product offering as the no.1 specialist within Scandinavia.
“This is not a new program, not an add-on to a global product range, this is a specialist with over 13 years’ experience who know what they are talking about”.
50 Degrees North Founder Tietse Stelma was equally enthusiastic in making the announcement “50 Degrees North has been concentrating on Nth America and the UK/EU regions throughout the pandemic, as these markets have continued to travel throughout this period.
“Whilst at the same time, we’ve been working with the ETC team to build the right plan and re-start at the right time for this market. We know the pent up demand is there for quality products and with record sales in other regions already we can’t wait to get back to supporting the agency networks here within the APAC region.”
