Put your hand up if you’re seeing a steady stream of winter-weary clients looking to shake off the cool-season blues with a stay in the Asian sunshine.
If you’re sitting with your arm in the air, you will be chuffed to hear that Club Med and Garuda Indonesia are coming to the rescue with a package that makes it a cinch to book a last-minute trip to Bali. Club Med has released the all-inclusive package, combining special air and land deals to get customers seeking a pre-Christmas break onto the beach in idyllic Nusa Dua, with the offer valid until October 31 for travel between November 1 and December 22 in 2018.
An escape into the tropics
The sprawling resort – which caters to everyone from couples seeking a romantic escape to families looking for fun in the sun and friends keen to decompress together – rests beside the calm aquamarine water of the Java Sea 12km from Kuta and boasts 500m of beach, lush gardens for strolling, two restaurants, three bars, kid’s club, and selection of swimming pools.
Rejuvenate your senses
With a host of those famous Club Med included activities on offer – yoga, golf, archery, beach soccer, basketball, tennis, guided walks, snorkelling, kayaking, paddle boarding – guests can stay busy or simply sit in the sun and only stand up when it’s time to cool down with a swim.
Deluxe your way in Bali
The seven-night all-inclusive package starts at $1760 per adult with return economy airfares and accommodation. The offer covers all meals and snacks including local cuisine and international favourites, premium open bar, a wide selection of activities, entertainment, access to the kid’s club, wifi and travel insurance which means customers will find it hard to spend an extra cent while away.
Those flying from Perth and staying in a Club Room will pay from $1760 per adult, while prices for travellers departing from Sydney and Melbourne start from $2040. Those looking to add some extra luxury to their getaway can upgrade to a Deluxe Room and Business Class return flights from as little as $2960 departing the west-coast capital or from $3700 for the south-eastern states.
Eat, Play and Renew yourself
Guests staying at Club Med Bali between November 25 and December 14 this year will also get to enjoy (at no extra charge) an exclusive new event with the “Eat, Play, Renew’’ celebration introducing travellers to the beauty of the holiday island’s culture.
Thoughtful activities will be hosted by local artisans and instructors with the “Eat’’ aspect of the encounter promising the chance to sample Balinese flavours with a menu of special recipes created to showcase local ingredients.
During “Play’’ visitors will be exposed to some of the heart-pumping activities that make the destination famous for land and water sports with surfing, treks to the top of Mount Batur to watch the sunset, and diving in Jemeluke Bay some options for active folks.
Those planning a stop-and-flop holiday will prefer the “Renew’’ element with Balinese massage, aromatherapy treatments and beach yoga on the signature special-event schedule.
