Princess Cruises is making it easier for regional guests to step foot on its ships, after announcing that it will now be offering Regional Express Airlines (REX) on its air platform EZair®.
Princess Cruises will now be offering Regional Express Airlines (REX) on its air platform, in what the cruise lines says will better service travel agents and guests from regional Australia.
For those who don’t know, Princess EZair® offers real-time flights that are customised to when and where the cruise sails.
The platform offers an array of travel benefits, including:
- Competitive airfare pricing – See real-time airline inventory from multiple carriers at competitive rates in a side-by-side layout for easy comparison.
- Late Arrival Protection – If you miss your cruise embarkation due to an airline delay or service disruption, Princess will work with the airline to provide flights to the next appropriate port at no cost to you.
- Immediate flight confirmations – Flight schedule will now be confirmed at the time of the air booking.
- New booking window – Air may be purchased from 320 days up to 4 days prior to departure (subject to availability).
- Post Cruise Missed Flights – If for any reason your cruise arrives late into port or your Princess transfer is delayed to the airport and you miss your return flight, Princess will work with the airline to rebook your flights to get you home.
Princess EZair Program offers two distinct pricing options, each with specific features and benefits depending on your clients’ travel needs.
One of the most popular features is Late Arrival Protection which gives clients the assurance of getting on a cruise, when possible, if flights are delayed or cancelled as well as getting home if they miss a flight because of a delayed cruise or transfer.
