Luxury travel buying group Alatus has launched, repositioning as a members-only collective of premium and independent travel management companies in the upscale leisure space with support from Express Travel Group’s independent product offering.

Alatus members have come together with a common goal to identify and develop strategies to achieve sustainable growth through entrepreneurial thinking, shared experience, knowledge and resources.

Operating ‘for members, by members’, Alatus will focus on innovation and productivity as a buying group as well as working toward spending efficiencies and increasing profits for member partners.

Initial members include Emma Whiting (Emma Whiting Travel), Francesca Labbozzetta (Marconi Travel), Monique Monsees (Cherrybrook Travel), Stuart Ingram (Destination HQ) and Kylie Lutrell (The Travel Notebook).

Destination HQ Managing Director Stuart Ingram said: “We’re bringing together like-minded luxury agents into a game-changing collective where the members have the ultimate say in the success of their group.”

Express Travel Group (ETG) General Manager Sales & Marketing Jason Aghan said Alatus represents an opportunity to change what it means to be part of a buying group.
