Flight Centre is the latest in a string of new partnerships Travello has formed this year, despite the COVID crisis.

“Hyper-local and domestic tourism is the new reality, so we have been working with a range of brands to help them engage their domestic audiences and open them up to the experiences vertical,” says Ryan Hanly, CEO of Travello.

Travello has a broad range of tours, activities and attractions available on their platform – from walking tours and cooking lessons, to more extreme adventure activities like Jetboating and Skydiving.

“Experiences are what people travel for, it’s what they remember and post on their social networks. So Travello is excited to be leading the way in helping brands like Flight Centre bring this to their customers.”

Ryan Hanly, CEO of Travello

Travello’s global community of travellers has grown significantly through the COVID period, with travellers around the world turning to the platform for their travel inspiration and to connect with other travellers from around the world whilst in lockdown, but partnerships like the one with Flight Centre will form a part of the company’s plans going forward.

“This is a great example of two Australian companies coming together assist in the tourism recovery,” says Hanly.

He continues, “This is an exciting phase for us and despite the gloom, there is a huge amount of pent up travel demand –It’s a great opportunity for travellers to explore their city, region or other parts of their state and play their part in supporting local operators through the recovery.”
