APT to host biggest New Zealand trade famil in a decade – here’s what's in store

APT’s New Zealand South Island Mega Famil returns in May 2025, taking more than 30 top-performing advisors from Australia, Canada and the UK on a nine-day trip, representing the brand’s most significant famil to the region in over 10 years.

APT’s New Zealand South Island Mega Famil returns in May 2025, taking more than 30 top-performing advisors from Australia, Canada and the UK on a nine-day trip, representing the brand’s most significant famil to the region in over 10 years.

The nine-day famil departs 19 May and will showcase the best of APT’s South Island itineraries, offering advisors a firsthand immersive view of the brand’s most popular tours and the guest experience.

The group will travel from Christchurch to Queenstown, Milford Sound/Piopiotahi, Aoraki/Mount Cook and back, encountering key product elements, including Signature Experiences and Freedom of Choice touring.

Itinerary highlights include a scenic flight over Franz Josef Glacier, a Haast River Safari, an overnight stay at Te Waonui Forest Retreat and a cruise on Milford Sound.

Hosted by APT Tour Director Daniel Gillies plus Sales, Product and Operations team members, the famil also includes site visits and local insights from regional partners, such as Destination Queenstown and Skyline Enterprises.

All famil attendees have achieved Gold, Platinum or Diamond tier status in the Trade VIP Program, designed to recognise and reward top-performing agents with priority access to training, incentives and famil opportunities.
