APT Travel Group has just unveiled the latest enhancements to their VIP Partner Program. We chat exclusively with their head honcho of sales Scott Ellis to get the inside scoop.
Scott! How are you ?
Excited, well, more than excited actually. We have some really great news that we are relaunching our APT Travel Group VIP Program, bigger and better than ever.
Tell us about the new program
We’ve really listened to our agent partners and have delivered a new and truly unique program that gives business owners and managers exceptional scope to tailor rewards to their own business needs. As partners sell more, they will climb the tiers and receive a bigger bag of rewards and benefits. This will include things like increased marketing budgets, VIP customer service, and access to travel on APT Travel Group tours.
PLUS we haven’t left out the consultants! We are thrilled to announce the APT Travel Group Consultant Rewards benefits – giving consultants the chance to earn $100 when booking selected APT and Travelmarvel trips.
So how do agents earn the cold hard cash?
It will be in the form of vouchers, but they’re just as good! Each quarter, we will nominate certain products that can earn VIP agents $100 when booked and deposited. For example, from now until the end of March, the APT and Travelmarvel products valid for the incentive are European River Cruising for 2023 departures, as well as APT Kimberley Cruises on Le Soléal and Le Laperouse in 2023. Every booking that is deposited during the period will earn $100. The more bookings and deposits placed, the more money consultants can earn.

But the consultant love doesn’t stop there! Part of the increased Consultant Rewards and to recognise the critical role consultants play in recommending and selling our brands – we are also offering Self Famil access. We’d love to see as many agents experience our incredible product as possible.
Ohhh, we love a famil. How do they get them?
Our Diamond and Platinum partners will be contacted in the coming weeks with an invitation for one team member to join us on a hosted famil this year. We would love to see all VIP partners experiencing our product this year so all VIP Partners can access some incredible savings on Europe river cruising in 2023, via our Inside Sales department here.
Why is it so important to APT to acknowledge consultants and agents?
Our VIP program is designed to recognise the critical role that our valued partner agents play in our business. We love to work in partnership and so this program is designed for agents, owners, and managers, to grow their business and build their success in partnership with APT Travel Group. We are all about helping them bring that next, high value booking through their door.
What do you reckon partners are most excited about? What feedback have you had so far?
The feedback we have received so far has exceeded our expectations. Consultants love the value of their potential rewards and business owners appreciate the almost endless possibilities for them to be creative in driving sales using the VIP benefits.
We’ve also had great early feedback about the Partnership Funds. They are focused on driving sales through reinvesting with our agent partners by investing a percentage of their sales directly into their business every quarter.
And super importantly, agents are excited about all rewards being paid on deposited bookings, not departed. This means the rewards come through predictably each quarter – instant gratification!
We are also seeing more and more agents take up the opportunity to travel with us this year- increase their knowledge and experience the product first-hand.
Give us some inspo… Which famil would you jump on?
I would be jumping straight on the Travelmarvel European Gems to see the new ships and plant myself firmly at McGeary’s bar for a parma!
