A new dedicated Regional Australian directory and booking platform for tours, attractions, accommodation and itineraries, launches today.
Australian owned and operated BookitDoit – a new directory and booking platform – is here to make Regional Australia visible and bookable online to the ever-increasing self-drive market.
The first and only booking platform to cover the whole of Regional Australia, BookitDoit offers a categorised directory with filtered search and live mapping, live rates and direct bookings plus itineraries/packages delivered along with a digital tour guide.
After local major tourist centres seeing a boom this year, it’s now time for the regional areas and small business operators within them to shine in the online travel booking space.

All regional operators connected with Australian Tourism Data Warehouse (ATDW) are now listed on BookitDoit, with two months to claim and validate their listing (for free), to ensure contact details are displayed and ability for bookings, with a minimal 10% commission fee.
Alternatively, a Premium Membership can be purchased for just $10 per week, ensuring priority listing, revolving ad space on BookitDoit’s home page, social listings, and your product highlighted in itineraries and including a digital tour guide, again with a low commission of just 15% for bookings.
Users of the site can easily locate your tour or attraction through searching by ‘What’ (business name, activity etc.), ‘Where’ (town/area), and ‘Category’.
With 12 activity categories to choose from, across six states, two territories, 87 regions, and 226 areas, travellers are spoilt for choice. Once your listing is validated, you can then choose multiple categories that your product is aligned to, allowing for a heightened chance of a user locating the listing and booking.
BookitDoit has engaged the ATDW, TXA (Tourism Exchange Australia) and Jcurve Solutions (Riyo) to deliver a seamless and easy to use one-stop shop for experiences in regional areas.

BookitDoit’s founder, Mark Ennor, from the Mid North Coast of NSW, spent 20 years at the coal face of Regional Tourism as a multi award-winning adventure tour operator and understands the needs of regional travellers and tour/attraction operators.
He is a passionate advocate for the industry that has always found it hard to compete with the major tourist centres (especially online) and is setting out to change that, plus support small business operators, with BookitDoit.
Mark says: “I love the ocean but there is so much more to Australia than the Coast… you never really appreciate the diversity and vastness of our great country until you head inland. BookitDoit will promote and support all regions in Australia, as travellers want to find all there is to do everywhere, not just in the tourist hotspots.
“With 2019 challenging the country with drought, fire and flood followed by this year’s Coronavirus outbreak, never before has local tourism needed the support and voice of its community.”
Mark Ennor, Founder of BookitDoit
“This is where we come in. If you’re a regional tour operator, this is an affordable and effective way of reaching your target markets: it really is a no brainer to get yourself listed on BookitDoit, and very easy to do so,” Mark continues.
BookitDoit was devised in late 2019 after Mark’s Horse Riding business was forced to close due to the drought and bushfires and after solid months of development, the platform is finally launching today, just in time for the summer holiday season.
Regional operators interested in signing up to BookitDoit, can do so here.
