Brand USA and United Airlines are joining forces for a three-city agent roadshow this July, bringing a lineup of US destinations and product partners and advisors together on The Great Road Trip – Australia campaign to Perth, Adelaide and Gold Coast.
Visiting Perth on 29 July, Adelaide on 30 July and Gold Coast on 31 July 2025, the program shares the spirit of the American open road with Australian travel advisors and industry professionals through informative sessions, experiential activations and in-depth road-trip itineraries.
Already a proven success in several Brand USA key markets in the UK and Europe, the program helps strengthen advisors’ knowledge of self-drive adventures to share with their clients.

Brand USA research shows that almost half of Australian travellers (47%) indicated they were likely to go on a road trip during a future US trip. The survey also indicated that 69 per cent of Australians wish to visit two or more cities during their US trip.
The survey findings align perfectly with road tripping for one of the most cost-effective, flexible and immersive methods for exploring multiple US destinations.

With the legendary Route 66 marking its centenary in 2026, this program also taps into Australians’ interest in nostalgic and contemporary US road-trip adventures.
Dubbed the ‘Mother Road’, Route 66 stretches 3,940km from Chicago to Santa Monica across eight states for an iconic bucket-list drive.

Brand USA Senior Director, Global Trade Development (APAC) Suzy Shepard said: “As Australians seek more immersive and independent travel experiences, this is a great opportunity to introduce this celebrated global event to the Australian market.”
“The Great USA Road Trip – Australia will be a journey into the heart of US road trips, crafted to inspire and empower agents to sell self-drive adventures with confidence.”

United Airlines Regional Sales Manager for Australia, New Zealand & Tahiti Tim Wallis said: “United Airlines is excited to partner with Brand USA in launching The Great USA Road Trip Australia campaign, showcasing some of the most famous routes and scenic roadways across the US, starting in our hometown of Chicago.”
“United offers more nonstop flights from Australia to Continental USA than any other airline. Once in the US, customers can connect to more than 200 destinations on United’s network, providing travellers with the opportunity to see and experience more of America.”
Registration will soon be open to travel advisors in June 2025 with limited spaces available.
