The Council of Australian Tour Operators (CATO) has confirmed an impressive line-up of major co-sponsors for its 2025 Christmas Lunch, to be held on Thursday 4 December at the Sheraton Grand Sydney Hyde Park.
The annual event is one of the travel industry’s most anticipated dates, drawing senior executives, tour operators, wholesalers, travel agents, airlines and media for an afternoon of networking and recognition.
This year’s co-sponsors represent some of the most established names in land touring: Abercrombie & Kent, Bunnik Tours, Collette, G Adventures, Inside Travel Group, Intrepid, Keith Prowse Travel, Sun Island Tours, Travel Puglia and Tours of Tuscany. Together, they signal a show of collective strength at a time when touring demand continues to rebuild and diversify.
CATO Managing Director Brett Jardine said the level of engagement reflects a united sector.
“The way our members and industry partners have rallied together this year is truly inspiring. It shows the strength of our community and the values that unite us beyond business,” Jardine said.
Each co-sponsor’s contribution includes a donation to the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia (PCFA), extending the organisation’s partnership with the charity through Jardine’s ongoing fundraising campaign. The collaboration supports awareness and research for a condition affecting thousands of Australian men and their families.
The event’s dual focus on celebration and purpose continues to position CATO as both an advocate for the land touring sector and a driver of industry-wide engagement. The Christmas Lunch remains a key forum for commercial relationships — connecting operators, agents and partners ahead of the new year’s planning cycle.
Limited tickets remain for the 2025 CATO Christmas Lunch. Further details and bookings are available at www.cato.travel.
