Chimu Adventures’ Andy Loving and Sydney-based Flight Centre store managers and novices enjoyed a kayak excursion on Sydney Harbour on 14 March to mark FCTG’s Wellness Week.
The Flight Centre team of 10 kayaked on Sydney Harbour to reference an excursion that Chimu Adventures offers guests on many of its partner ships in Antarctica.
While the outing was not as cold as Antarctica, the group were lucky to escape Sydney’s temperamental weather as the excursion was topped and tailed by seasonal downpours.
Luckily, the storm cleared just in time and the FC team enjoyed their stint away from the desk to be tourists for a few hours.
“We teamed up with Flight Centre for Wellness Week after such a crazy-busy year seeing our industry recover, I think it’s important to stop for a second and reflect how far we’ve come,” Mr Loving said.
“I couldn’t think of a better place to do that than Sydney Harbour along with our Flight Centre partners who we wanted to thank for their support.”
