Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) Cruise Month sails back to Australia and New Zealand in October 2024, showcasing cruise holidays Down Under with new initiatives that highlight both the onboard and offshore experiences available, plus how agents can harness the buoyant promotional activity for sales success.
The annual CLIA Cruise Month 2024 campaign, under the banner #LoveCruise, celebrates and capitalises on the swelling popularity of cruising Down Under.
CLIA Cruise Month 2024 will spotlight four weekly themes throughout October, covering Ocean Cruising (29 September – 5 October), River Cruising (6-12 October), Expedition Cruising (13-19 October) and Luxury Cruising (20-26 October) with aligned print and digital media and CLIA cruise line advertising.
CLIA Managing Director in Australasia Joel Katz said: “Cruise Month is about celebrating the upcoming cruise season and capitalising on the passion Australians and New Zealanders have for cruising.”
“Our campaigns this year take a split-screen look, highlighting the enjoyment of cruising alongside the extraordinary destinations we can sail to.”
How agents can make the most of CLIA Cruise Month 2024
Activities planned for CLIA Cruise Month 2024 include an expanded social media campaign targeting new-to-cruise consumers and established fans and directing them to CLIA cruise specialist advisors.
Agent members can attend Cruise Month webinars hosted by CLIA cruise lines, allowing you to expand your product knowledge and take advantage of the latest initiatives.
You can also access a new Cruise Month toolkit to stage your own Cruise Month initiatives and amplify CLIA’s social media campaign.
The agent toolkit includes Cruise Month logos, social media tiles, imagery, videos, digital banners, a customisable flyer, posters and more.
CLIA travel advisors who host Cruise Month events will also be in the running to win a travel package to attend next year’s CLIA Awards gala dinner.
