Destination Canada has named its six new Radical Ambassadors for 2025/26, each securing a coveted spot on the ultimate famil trip to British Columbia and the Northwest Territories with flights courtesy of Air Canada. Over the next 12 months, these ambassadors will also use their personal voices to champion Canada—sharing authentic stories and insider insights with clients and peers across the industry.

Following on from last year’s inaugural program—which sent 10 Aussie agents on a life-changing Canada famil—this year’s six winners will continue the mission of showcasing Canada, naturally to their networks.

The 2025/26 Radical Ambassadors are:

  • Georgia Bantoft – All About Travel Tweed/ Go See Touring
  • Karen Walsh – McNally Travel
  • Teagan Gunter – Travel Beyond Group
  • Ella Uebergang – Windsong Travel
  • Emily Noble – Helloworld Travel Rochedale Shopping Village
  • Angela Hill – Gallivanter Travel

Their journey begins before they even board the plane. Each advisor will join an exclusive Social Media Masterclass with Karryon, designed to sharpen their content creation skills and prepare them to capture and share every Canadian moment.

From 30 September to 7 October 2025, the group will embark on a curated itinerary through British Columbia’s Okanagan Valley, Yellowknife, and the Northwest Territories—expect dramatic landscapes, authentic cultural encounters, and, if the skies align, the Northern Lights.

Entries that impressed

When entering, agents were asked why they wanted to become a Radical Ambassador in 50 words or less (with extra credit for sharing a pitch video or content created). Here’s a taste of what two of the winning Radical Ambassadors shared:

  • Angela Hill – Gallivanter Travel
“Canada captivates me every time — its wild beauty, vibrant cities, and warm people speak to every traveller. As both an agent and a person, I feel driven to share it, so others can explore, connect, and be changed by the experiences that have inspired everyone I know who’s visited.”

  • Teagan Gunter – Travel Beyond Group
Teagan shared that she wants to inspire through her experiences, share bold ideas, and showcase Canada’s beauty. She fell in love with the country on a winter holiday and now dreams of exploring its culture, landscapes, and communities in depth—sharing every discovery along the way.

Why Radical Ambassadors?

The program embodies Canada’s tourism philosophy of Radical Openness—open spaces, open hearts, open minds—and challenges ambassadors to highlight authentic experiences that resonate with today’s travellers.

And while the famil is the starting point, the role continues well beyond the trip. For the next 12 months, Destination Canada’s newest Radical Ambassadors will share their Canadian experiences across social media, client conversations, and industry platforms—helping to keep Canada, naturally top of mind for Australian travellers.
