Hong Kong heats up: Infinity Holidays launches new agent incentive after Sydney event

Infinity Holidays and the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) continued their joint push to position Hong Kong as a must-visit destination for Australian travellers, hosting an exclusive luncheon for travel agents, suppliers and media last week at Lotus The Galeries in Sydney.

The event followed the soft campaign launch in March and marked a new phase of trade engagement, designed to celebrate early results and build momentum.

Infinity Holidays reported a healthy uplift in Hong Kong bookings through travel agent channels since the campaign began, with agents selling a broad range of product — from city breaks to tailored packages.

Attendees were treated to a Hong Kong-inspired lunch while hearing campaign updates, sales opportunities and a new booking incentive designed to reward agent support.

“It has been great working in partnership with the Hong Kong Tourism Board promoting the destination and unlocking the earning potential for our travel agent supporters,” Jo Rendall, Business Leader at Infinity Holidays said.

New agent incentive: You Could Win It All

To further boost engagement, Infinity Holidays has launched a new incentive for agents: You Could Win It All – Thanks to Harbour Plaza Metropolis.

Agents who book any Hong Kong product via Infinity Holidays between 1–31 May 2025 will go into the draw to win a reward courtesy of Harbour Plaza Metropolis. Details of the incentive and campaign toolkit are available via the dedicated page at infinityholidays.com/campaigns/hong-kong.

The promotion is designed to keep Hong Kong front of mind for both advisors and their clients as the destination continues to recover.

Why Hong Kong, why now

According to HKTB, Hong Kong is seeing renewed interest among Australian travellers, especially with the return of citywide events and increased air capacity. The destination has been actively promoting its blend of cultural experiences, food and urban adventure to Australian audiences — with trade support playing a central role in the strategy.

The partnership with Infinity Holidays aims to streamline agent access to packaged deals and promotional tools, helping convert client curiosity into confirmed sales.
