Journey Beyond has relaunched its popular Become a Beyonder campaign, giving Australian travel agents the chance to win a place on a $20,000 mega famil in March 2026.
Alicia Triggs, Executive General Manager – Sales and Partnerships at Journey Beyond, confirmed the return of the incentive this week, following strong agent engagement in 2024.
What is a Beyonder?
Journey Beyond defines a “Beyonder” as an agent with expert knowledge of its products and a reputation for going further for clients. The campaign builds advocacy by turning trade partners into brand champions through immersive education and reward.

The prize: $20,000 famil experience
Agents who qualify will secure a spot on a bespoke, all-inclusive 10-day famil across three states, valued at over $20,000 per person.
Highlights of the March 2026 famil include:
- Flights from the nearest capital city to Alice Springs, with one night’s accommodation.
- Four nights of exclusive Red Centre touring with Outback Spirit, including Uluru, Field of Light, and an outback dinner under the stars at Alice Springs Telegraph Station.
- Two nights aboard The Ghan Expedition in Gold Premium from Alice Springs to Adelaide, including off-train experiences in Coober Pedy and Manguri.
- Two nights’ premium accommodation at Monarto Safari Resort with a safari experience and spa access.
- Return flights from Adelaide with more surprise inclusions and “champagne moments” to be revealed.
How to win: five pathways
Agents can earn their chance to become a Beyonder in one of five categories:
- Bookings Beyond – consultant with the most guest bookings on eligible Journey Beyond Rail and Outback Spirit experiences.
- Sell Beyond – agency with the highest Journey Beyond Rail and Outback Spirit revenue.
- Service Beyond – consultant with the best Journey Beyond agent success story.
- Creativity Beyond – most creative agency campaign.
- Learning Beyond – consultants who register and attend all five Beyonder webinars.

To qualify, bookings must be made between 1 September and 31 October 2025 across five key Journey Beyond experiences:
- The Ghan and The Ghan Expedition
- Indian Pacific
- Outback Spirit Arnhem Land Touring
- Outback Spirit Kimberley Touring
- Outback Spirit Red Centre Touring
