The destination’s tourism board is encouraging Travel Agents to get online and complete the updated version of its Hong Kong Specialist Club (HKSC) by giving them the chance to WIN a spot on a famil to the city. To be in the running, consultants simply need to register for the training programme by clicking here and complete the modules before July 2018. The famil will depart in October 2018 with highlights including Hong Kong’s Great Outdoor and the city’s cycling event, Cyclothon. According to Lisa Lee, Hong Kong Tourism Board’s Trade Marketing and Business Tourism Australia, New Zealand and South Pacific, the training tool is a great way for consultants to update their destination knowledge and pass on that information to clients. In addition to a spot on a famil, those who become HKSC members will receive special benefits, including a ‘welcome pack’, which includes a Big Bus Tour ticket, Discover Hong Kong Tourist SIM card, harbour cruise, MTR tourist day pass and more.
