The pearl standard: New expedition line sets sail
Pearl Expeditions is a new Australian expedition cruise line formed through a collaboration between cruise industry leader Sarina Bratton AM and Paspaley.
Its inaugural vessel, Paspaley Pearl, is a 50-metre boutique expedition motor yacht designed to host 30 guests in comfort and style. The yacht will begin operations on 31 July 2025, offering journeys along the Kimberley coastline and beyond.

Initial itineraries will explore destinations including King George Falls, Montgomery Reef, Hunter River, and Paspaley pearl farms. Further afield, expeditions will visit Papua New Guinea, Raja Ampat, East Indonesia, and Borneo.
Drawing on decades of local expertise and luxury credentials, Pearl Expeditions combines Paspaley’s deep regional knowledge and heritage with Sarina Bratton’s legacy in boutique expedition cruising, including the former Orion brand.
KARRYON UNPACKS: Pearl Expeditions offers agents a rare opportunity to sell a new, ultra-luxury product with strong local ties and standout commission potential. The jewellery incentive adds weight to the pitch and positions agents as trusted sellers in the high-end expedition space.
