AmaWaterways unlocks October rewards for travel advisors during CLIA Cruise Month

Travel advisors across Australia and New Zealand can earn stacked rewards this October, as AmaWaterways joins CLIA Cruise Month and River Week with exclusive incentives designed to boost bookings and client value.

Travel advisors across Australia and New Zealand can earn stacked rewards this October, as AmaWaterways joins CLIA Cruise Month and River Week with exclusive incentives designed to boost bookings and client value.

AmaWaterways is marking CLIA Cruise Month by reinforcing its support for the travel advisor community, highlighting the vital role advisors play in driving river cruise growth across the region.

October incentive offers dual rewards for advisors and clients

Throughout October, CLIA-accredited advisors will receive a $100 eGift card for every new AmaWaterways reservation made. Their clients will also benefit, with a $300 onboard credit per booking.

To maximise the opportunity, advisors can combine this incentive with the CLIA Rewards 2025 program, provided they have not yet redeemed it this year, earning up to a bonus $100 commission.

This means advisors can earn more while giving clients additional value—a win-win scenario during one of the busiest months in the cruise calendar.

Strengthening advisor partnerships

“We’re delighted to support CLIA’s Cruise Month and the fantastic initiatives it delivers for our industry,” said Steve Richards, AU/NZ Managing Director.

“River Week is the perfect opportunity to celebrate the beauty of river cruising and recognise the travel advisors who continue to champion these incredible experiences for their clients.”

The campaign underscores AmaWaterways’ ongoing partnership with CLIA and its commitment to supporting advisors through education, collaboration, and tangible rewards.

CLIA Cruise Month: Spotlighting the cruise sector

Each October, CLIA Cruise Month amplifies consumer awareness and advisor engagement across Australia and New Zealand, with themed weeks focusing on ocean, river, expedition, and luxury cruising.

By aligning with River Week (12–18 October 2025), AmaWaterways is positioning itself alongside other leading operators championing small-ship, experience-rich cruising, and ensuring advisors are recognised for their expertise.

“CLIA Cruise Month is such a powerful way to spotlight our industry,” added Richards. “We’re thrilled to stand alongside CLIA in celebrating the value of cruising and rewarding advisors for their passion and hard work.”
