They realised that they’d never experienced Cajun food & southern hospitality in New Orleans, nor had they actually had an incredible Vegas escape.

So when they saw an opportunity to visit both cities as well as Los Angeles, they, along with hundreds of other Travel Agents, jumped on it.

American Airlines and Brand USA say they’ve been inundated with entries to their ‘Ultimate $10,000 itinerary to the USA’ competition, that it was practically impossible to narrow down their entries to five finalists.

Side note: A $10,000 dollar trip to the USA – doesn’t that send your imagination on a taunting journey through Universal Studios, strip of casinos and the French Quarter?!

Well, five Travel Agents have a REALLY good chance at turning that dream into a reality because they’ve been selected as competition finalists.

If you’re Alice Rose from Flight Centre Barangaroo, Kartina van Beusekom from Destinations Travel Management, Emina Hodzic from Flight Centre Martin Place, William Bragg from Phil Hoffmann Travel Norwood, or Kate Hallam from STA Travel Penrith then CONGRATULATIONS, you’re one of those lucky peeps!

As finalists, these five will come together on Wednesday night to compete in an all-American knowledge challenge.

The Travel Agent who demonstrates the most USA knowledge will be off on a one-of-a-kind journey the following morning.

Yes, the next morning!

Meanwhile, the other four finalists will receive a pretty wicked prize themselves, with American Airlines giving them two return Premium Economy tickets from Sydney to Los Angeles.
