The Mount Eliza-based Travel Agent proved her Avalon knowledge during a recent competition, which saw her walk away with a free European river cruise for TWO!
Yes, all that studying and research not only won her a river cruise for herself, but her favourite travel buddy.
Suddenly she’s the most popular person in the office ;).
The prize worth $12,000 was given away as part of Avalon’s recent consumer and marketing campaign.
In order to be in the running (or in Emma’s case, to win), Agents had to correctly answer a series of multiple choice questions relating to Avalon and then explain in 25 words of less why Aussies should choose to travel with the brand.
With a full score and creative prose detailing delicious Amsterdam cheeses and Basel fondue, the announcement came as a surprise to Emma.
She told Avalon that she was surprised to see the cruise brand’s Area Sales Manager in the store but was in complete shock after realising she’d won. Just check out that reaction above.
