Feeling like you need to walk 500 miles and then walk 500 more because you’ve been in iso for so damn long? Well, G Adventures has your back, by inviting you to “step” up to the W Trek Step Challenge.

Back by popular demand, (and quite possibly because if we don’t do some exercise soon we’ll become a bunch of couch potatoes), G Adventures has announced the launch of their W Trek Step Challenge.

This challenge is a fancy revamp of their famous Inca Trail Steps Challenge – where you can learn each day of your trek, whilst getting active (and competitive) at home. 

“We saw a huge response to our last challenge, with 155 agents participating across Australia and New Zealand, 4,900,971 total steps taken and 3,920kms trekked – which is enough to have trekked the Inca Trail 89 times!”

W Trek Step Challenge

Agents can enter as a team, individual, or both and accumulate their steps each day to discover just how far of The W Trek they can conquer over a four day period, combine that with a daily Patagonia fact blast, photos, videos, songs, podcasts, and stories, and they’ll be an expert in all things Patagonia by Friday!

Over the course of four days agents will be aiming to complete 57kms (roughly 71,250 steps), the same length of days and distance that it takes to do the W trek with G Adventures!

Throughout the challenge, you’ll be learning all about G Adventures tours in Patagonia, so that you can book your clients on their own tour of one of the world’s most scenic treks with passion and confidence.

To get involved in the W Trek Step Challenge you’ll need to register online by close of business, TODAY, Monday May 25. (Any cheeky registrations after May 25 will still be welcome! Just email jhilbert@gadventures.com.)

From there, you’ll simply use the steps app on your phone (or another fitness tracker app) to track your daily step activities each day, and accumulate your team results to send to G Adventures GPS Jake Hilbert by 11am each morning.

The competition will run from Monday May 25 until midnight Thursday, May 28. Winners will be announced on ‘Active Wear Friday’, on May 29.
