Cruise Lines International Association President & CEO Bud Darr will jet in from the USA to present the keynote address in front of around 800 CLIA members at the two-day Cruise360 Australasia 2025 conference in Brisbane from 27–28 August.
The newly installed CLIA Global CEO will present the event’s opening-day keynote on the state of the global cruise sector, setting the stage for discussions on the opportunities and challenges presented in a rapidly changing industry.
The sold-out Cruise360 Australasia 2025 conference, themed ‘Navigate, Innovate, Excel’, will provide knowledge, direction and insights to help attendees evolve and thrive for the future.

This year’s 10th Anniversary Cruise360 conference is the biggest in Australasia to date, bringing together travel advisors, cruise line reps, ports and destinations, suppliers and other stakeholders.
In addition to Darr’s keynote address, CLIA Managing Director in Australasia Joel Katz said this year’s Cruise360 Australasia would have more international speakers than ever before with the full lineup to be announced soon.

“Cruise360 Australasia has become the biggest annual event on this region’s cruise calendar and a critical forum for our industry as we unite around our strengths and direction,” he said.
“Bud Darr is one of the most experienced and respected maritime leaders in our global community and we’re delighted to have him join us in Brisbane to share his insights.”

Cruise360 Australasia’s first-ever Brisbane event was in 2023 and this year marks the conference’s return to the Sunshine State.
Cruise360 Australasia 2025 will be held at the Royal International Convention Centre Brisbane, along with an extended Cruise360 Exhibition.
