CT Partners’ 20th-anniversary conference is underway at the Four Seasons The Nam Hai in Hội An, Vietnam – and members already have reason to celebrate.
During the conference, the Aussie travel network revealed a Total Transaction Value (TTV) of more than $2 billion in FY24, with $1 billion coming from preferred airline production alone.
With the result, CT Partners has confirmed its place among Aussie travel giants as the third-largest travel buying group in Australia. That’s not bad for a relatively small network of 32 agencies.
Australia’s largest independently-owned travel-buying network, CT Partners oversees travel arrangements for over 1.6 million travellers yearly. It also passes 100 per cent of supplier payments directly to members.
CT Partners’ 2024 conference has gathered 100 delegates from Australia’s top corporate and premium-leisure travel businesses as well as representatives from preferred partners for a multi-day program celebrating two decades of success and industry leadership.
This year’s conference agenda focuses on industry trends like New Distribution Capability (NDC), sustainability and travel innovation.
Delegates will attend presentations, including a keynote from Mark Bowyer, an immersive travel expert with 30 years in Southeast Asia.
The event also includes team-building activities, fostering connections and collaboration among members and partners.
Guests include suppliers and industry leaders such as ATIA CEO Dean Long, who will share insights on the evolving travel landscape.
“This year’s conference is particularly special as CT Partners celebrates 20 years of impact and leadership in the travel industry,” CT Partners CEO Matt Masson said.
“It’s not just about reflecting on our past success, but about looking ahead to the future of travel.
“Our focus on travel innovation and collaboration ensures that our members are well-equipped to succeed in this rapidly changing industry. It’s also a great opportunity to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our members alongside our valued partners.”
On CT’s financial results, Masson said the “$2 billion in TTV and a 48% increase in member overrides underscores the power of CT Partners’ approach and the strength of our supplier relationships”.
“This year’s AGM celebrates 20 years of CT Partners’ success, and as we look to FY25, we remain focused on further enhancing our premium travel offerings and driving value for our members,” he stated.
“Our momentum is strong, and we are well-positioned to deliver another successful year.”
CT Partners expects five per cent air sales growth in Q1 FY25.
Chair Joe Araullo added, “CT Partners’ focus on delivering 100 per cent for members continues to yield outstanding results, and this record-breaking year highlights the strength of our model”.
“By ensuring that supplier payments go entirely to our members, we are empowering their growth and enhancing their market competitiveness.”
