DUBLIN DISCOVERY: 3 Reasons To Dive Into Our 2nd Facebook LIVE Webinar

Tourism Ireland and Karryon are back to take travel agents on a discovery dawdle around Dublin in the second edition of the live Facebook webinars that will reveal a region topping travel to-do list.

Tourism Ireland and Karryon are back to take travel agents on a discovery dawdle around Dublin in the second edition of the live Facebook webinars that will reveal a region topping travel to-do list.

Our first Ireland Facebook LIVE event saw over 15,000 watches with hundreds of you tuning in LIVE to ask questions and skill up on all things Emerald Isle.

So after the HUGE success of our first event, Tourism Ireland and Karryon are back with a second edition focussing this time on all things Dublin.

Our second 30-MINUTE ONLY info-packed training session will be broadcast LIVE on Wednesday 4th December at 6pm on the Karryon Facebook page.

That means you can watch it at your desk, with your office colleagues or on the bus on your mobile on the way home. Easy!

So before you say “Webinars are boring!” Think again! This is TOTALLY different.

Don’t believe us? Here’s are three reasons why you NEED to tune into our Facebook LIVE Training Event and what’s in it for you.

1. YOU’LL GET INSPIRING TIPS FROM LOCALS IN DUBLIN

During the 30-minute video training session, there will be Tourism Ireland staffers online to answer all your questions as well as a couple of Dublin locals (Live in Dublin) ready to share the inside info on their home turf. How cool is that?

You’ll hear from the Irish Whiskey Museum’s Nicola McDonnell and David Cleary from EPIC: The Irish Emigration Museum to learn more about two of Dublin’s most popular attractions.

The presentation is a great way to learn and be entertained at the same time.

2. YOU CAN BECOME A TRUE IRELAND INSIDER

The session will teach you about a destination that has something for everyone so you can plan for your clients to see something that suits them rather than embarking on the customary itinerary.

It might be visiting locations with literary links, drinks at a bar co-owned by Bono, drifting through a market with a local foodie to sample gourmet goodies, locating streets lined with gorgeous Georgian buildings, exploring a vibrant shopping strip, or pedalling an urban park.

Cool eh? These are the insider tips that’ll help you go above and beyond what people can find themselves on the internet.

3. YOU’LL GET CONNECTED TO MORE RESOURCES

The session will not only share inspirational insights, and provide a place to answer all the questions you have about Dublin, but it’s a great way to find all the resources needed to nail client requests.

There will also be a link to Tourism Ireland’s trade website allowing you to register for the Ireland Specialist training modules and sign up for the monthly trade-ezine focusing on regions, products and experiences right across this legendary land. Become a gold specialist through the Ireland Specialist training modules and you’ll be in with a chance to win a spot on an Island of Ireland fam trip in 2020.

And… If you miss the Facebook LIVE event, you can still watch the recording any time you like or skill up on the Q&A’s in the comments section.
