Sports Hall of Fame inductee Jana Pittman and leading consumer futurist Amanda Stevens will be the inspiring keynote speakers at the 13th TravelManagers National Conference to be held in Sydney from 7 to 9 September 2022.
The national TravelManagers conference marks the first annual gathering for three years, and the announcement of the two well-known speakers has been met with huge enthusiasm among personal travel managers (PTMs).
Amanda Stevens, a renowned thought leader in customer experience, consumer psychology and marketing and a popular previous TravelManagers’ conference speaker, will open the 2022 event on Thursday 7 September.
Ms Stevens will share her expert insights into customer behaviour and the importance of consumer advocacy, both extremely relevant in the post-pandemic travel industry.
She will be joined by a second highly regarded speaker, multi-hyphenate Jana Pittman, who will deliver the closing address on Friday 9 September.
An Olympian, doctor, SAS contestant and mother of four, Ms Pittman is expected to draw on personal experience to deliver a message about reinvention and resilience in the face of adversity that will resonate strongly with the TravelManagers audience.
TravelManagers executive general manager Michael Gazal said the inclusion of these two high-calibre drawcards has generated strong conference registration among PTMs.
“Given the challenges our industry has endured, there is definitely a sense of anticipation around both speakers and the insights they are expected to share with conference attendees,” Mr Gazal said.
