After sharing the details of its first-ever International Women’s Day event last week, the Council of Australian Tour Operators (CATO) has announced its full lineup of key events for industry and members in 2023.

Kicking off the year with the already sold-out International Women’s Day (IWD) Luncheon on Wednesday 8 March, CATO will host four other key events in 2023 in line with its strategic plan.

On Monday 15 May, it will stage a Crisis, Risk & Resilience Conference, followed by the CATO Annual General Meeting and Dinner on Tuesday 16 May for members only.

In the second half of the year, all are welcome to attend the CATO Travel Trivia Masters event on Thursday 3 August with the annual CATO Christmas Lunch rounding out 2023 on Thursday 7 December.

Except for the CATO AGM, the wider industry is invited to attend all of these events.

Along with the key events, CATO will also stage Networking Events throughout the year in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.

CATO Managing Director Brett Jardine said: “As a result of the feedback and demand for our hugely successful industry-wide events in 2022, we have opened our events calendar up again in 2023 to welcome all of the industry.”

“Developing events that address the challenges the industry face and reconnect members with retail trade partners is a key strategic priority and focus for CATO.

“We have an exciting array of speakers already confirmed this year across all events and look forward to updating the industry on these in due course,” Mr Jardine said.
