After a successful rollout in North America, the Expedia TAAP Rewards program has expanded globally, including in Australia, offering Australian advisors more ways to earn on eligible bookings through the Expedia Travel Agent Affiliate Program.

Travel advisors can earn personalised recognition for sales and choose from reward options by making eligible bookings on the Expedia TAAP platform, which offers exclusive average agent rates of 20 per cent off consumer rates on more than 350,000 properties worldwide.

The new rewards program goes beyond commission, enabling advisors to earn points on eligible bookings and redeem them for gift cards from leading global retailers.

Expedia TAAP Vice President Robin Lawther said the Rewards program expansion reflects global travel demand and highlights the indispensable role of advisors.

“Travel agents invest so much in their clients: time, expertise and care to ensure every trip is seamless. With Expedia TAAP Rewards, we’re proud to invest in them in return, giving advisors the tools, recognition and benefits they need to thrive in 2025 and beyond,” he said.

“By celebrating their contributions and offering meaningful rewards, we empower them to continue providing the high-touch service travellers value most.”

Expedia TAAP Rewards launched in the US in 2022, followed by Canada and Mexico last year, gaining strong traction for recognising and rewarding advisors.

In the US, 59 per cent of active Expedia TAAP agents are enrolled, Canada has seen 66 per cent participation and 55 per cent of advisors in Mexico are actively redeeming rewards.

Expedia TAAP recently upgraded its platform for Australian advisors with more inventory access and flexible payment options.
