Former Contiki Boss Katrina Barry Appointed MD For Trafalgar & Costsaver

Longstanding Managing Director of Contiki in Australia, Katrina Barry, has been announced as the new Managing Director for Trafalgar and Costsaver starting in August 2020, upon return from maternity leave.

Longstanding Managing Director of Contiki in Australia, Katrina Barry, has been announced as the new Managing Director for Trafalgar and Costsaver starting in August 2020, upon return from maternity leave.

Katrina Barry will replace Jason Wolff, who is leaving the company after making a personal decision to return with his family to Brisbane and will be leaving the travel industry.

Gavin Tollman, CEO Trafalgar & Costsaver stated: “Our team in Australia and around the world will miss Jason. During his time with us, he has made a large contribution and ensured we have laid a solid foundation for a prosperous future in what will be trying time. We thank him and wish him and his family all the very best as they return to a quality life back home in Brisbane.”

Wolff said, “I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with Trafalgar and would like to thank TTC for giving me this wonderful opportunity. I’ve decided to take on a role that will provide the best balance for myself and my family back in Queensland.”

Ms Barry, who has been with Contiki since 2014 said, “I’m delighted to join Trafalgar. As the industry evolves during this dynamic time, I look forward to working with our valued trade partners to redefine travel and ensure that together we make travel matter.”

David Hosking (TTC Director) and Adam Armstrong (new Global CEO of Contiki) who will be starting in the Sydney office on Monday, are working together on the leadership restructure of Contiki.

The change will occur mid-August with more details to follow.
