Taking place on Friday, November 6th at The Four Seasons Hotel in Sydney, The Travel & Tourism Comeback Conference is a face-to-face event focusing on market insights to aid the recovery and regrowth of the travel and tourism industry in the wake of COVID-19 and a summer of hideous bushfires in Australia.

While Zoom and video conferencing have been a necessary and useful tool for all of us in these strange times, face to face networking and catching up with our peers in person is something that has been sorely missed from an industry that thrives on human interaction and shared experiences.

Organised by Bronwyn White of New Young Consulting, The Travel & Tourism Comeback Conference on Friday, November 6 aims to change all that by kick-starting real-life reconnections again through a day of collective learnings and inspiration.

This is a one-day not for profit, research-led event that presents an opportunity for the travel and tourism industry to meet up again, hear invaluable insights and take away useful tools to help navigate out the other side of what remains the most challenging time ever for the travel and tourism industry.

Julia Zaetta, Better Homes and Gardens

Emceed by travel media legend Julia Zaetta from Better Homes and Gardens, this will be a travel and tourism conference with a difference.

Aside from hearing from a line up of great industry speakers, the innovative day will also host two live and interactive focus groups featuring +55 seniors/baby boomers and youth travellers who will share their personal opinions and desires about travel in a post-pandemic world.

Moderated by Carolyn Childs and Damian Francis of Mumbrella, these unique co-creation workshops will give you the chance to ask the questions and hear first-hand what travellers are really thinking.

You’ll also get to skill up on the latest credible research minus the mainstream media hysteria as well as catch the latest travel trends from speakers including Tourism Australia, My Travel Research, TripAdvisor, The Cruise Line Association (CLIA) and more.

CLIA Australasia managing director Joel Katz who will speak at the event

Best of all, you’ll get to catch up and network with your fellow travel industry peers in person.

There will be plenty of laughs (goodness knows we need some) and you’ll also get to enjoy a couple of vinos at the end of the day as part of the networking drinks in a COVID safe environment.

Karryon.com.au is proud to be the media partner for the event as part of of our Together In Travel initiative and the Karryon team and I will be there reporting on the day.

The good news is that we’ve also scored an exclusive discount for you, with Karryon readers getting $100 off the full ticket price for the day.

Click here to register, find out the full line up and details and grab your discounted ticket at $397 for Karryon readers.

This is a not-for-profit event with all proceeds being placed into tickets for those in the industry that would like to attend but are doing it tough. For more information, please contact: [email protected]

It’s also important to note that numbers for the event are strictly limited due to COVID safe restrictions and that the Four Seasons Hotel has been chosen as the venue because of their strict COVID safe event and NSW required health policies.

Who should attend this event?

The Travel & Tourism Comeback event will be an immersive and invaluable experience that will be traveller focused.

While this event is for anyone working in the travel and tourism industry, the day will be especially relevant for marketers, public relations and media consultants, entrepreneurs/business owners and managers.
