Travel advisors, have you signed up for NCL’s Walk for Wellness yet? If not, get on it, as this epic initiative gives you the chance to team up with your industry friends, get fit and have fun. Oh, and of course there’s plenty of knowledge, and a ship-load of prizes to be had along the way!

At the start of September, Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) put the call out inviting all Australian and New Zealand travel partners to register and start warming up for Walk for Wellness 2021 – the line’s popular wellbeing initiative, running from 1-31 October 2021.

As you can imagine, the virtual event has seen an incredible response, with over 780 registrations so far.

And, with an exclusive livestream yoga class and 50 prizes on offer, including the chance to win an NCL cruise, we can definitely see why Walk for Wellness is in demand!

So, if you’re ready for some feel-good vibes, grab your water bottle and start stretching RIGHT NOW, because registrations close 30 September.

Trust us, you don’t want to miss this one.

Walk for Wellness

The 100,000km walking map features the journey that Norwegian Prima will sail during her inaugural Europe and Caribbean seasons.

In case you missed the memo, the Walk for Wellness initiative encourages travel agents to get active and track their steps towards a combined goal of 100,000km via a free app, while taking part in fun weekly challenges and connecting with their travel community.

What’s even cooler, is that 100,000km map features the journey that Norwegian Prima – NCL’s newest innovative vessel set to launch in 2022 – will sail during her inaugural Europe and Caribbean seasons, including Iceland, Scandinavia, the UK, New York City and Miami.

The event also coincides with Mental Health Month, which is quite possibly more relevant than ever with the country’s lockdowns and border closures.

Walking releases endorphins and helps improve oxygen flow to the brain; sharpening focus and improving mood.

Pair these magical remedies with dreamy cruise inspo and travel industry mates and you’ll be shipshape for when the #ArrivalRevival begins!

Lynette Hood at Hoot Holidays highly recommends agents getting onboard with Walk for Wellness.

She said: “Your Walk for Wellness was so amazing last year and kept our team motivated and helped them get through some tough times. We were only saying last week, we need this back, so thank you!”

Damian Borg, Sales Director for NCL in Australia and New Zealand said “I think we can all agree that 2021 continues to present challenges that impact on the mental wellbeing of many in travel, which is why now more than ever, we’re dedicated to supporting our trade partners, bringing us together to celebrate what’s great about our industry.”

Let’s get walking, together. #TogetherinTravel.
