Globus family of brands (GFOB) has officially launched its new Travel Advisor Portal (TAP) in Australia, allowing Aussie agents to log onto a better booking experience and improved resource access across Globus, Cosmos and Avalon Waterways.
GFOB shared the TAP launch news back in October and hosted a series of agent training webinars about the new global portal, key features and updates last week.
The redesigned global Travel Advisor Portal replaces the current local platform and aims to streamline operations for improved efficiency and better agent support.
New and updated portal features include an upgraded reservation system with improved functionality and the ability to create and share personalised itineraries for clients, plus access to the GFOB University trade training program and The Source custom marketing materials.

Advisors who missed out on the webinars can still access training videos within the portal and GFOB’s Business Development Managers (BDMs) are also available for one-on-one training.
GFOB celebrated the launch in the company’s Sydney office last week with international staff members joining the local team to celebrate the successful launch of TAP after months of planning.

GFOB Head of Commercial ANZ Brett Simon said: “We are excited to see our new globally integrated Travel Advisor Portal live and ready for travel advisors to use.”
“We look forward to seeing our advisor partners reaping the benefits of its advanced features and efficiencies that will make booking and managing cruises and tours easier than ever.”
