Proving it’s never too early for pumpkin pie and cocktails, Visit USA and Brand USA treated Aussie travel trade and media to an American-style Thanksgiving Day breakfast in Sydney on Thursday 24 November.
More than 60 early risers from Australian travel media and the US travel industry enjoyed a slap-up spread of cinnamon rolls, hotcakes and pumpkin pie with mimosas and coffee at Wahlburgers in Opera Quays.
Guests enjoyed a delicious hot breakfast plus Thanksgiving-themed photo props and Polaroid pics to capture the holiday fun.

Visit USA Australia President Caroline Davidson said: “Our annual Thanksgiving Breakfast is an opportunity for us to stop and reflect on the year and more than ever, thank the industry for their support and dedication to rebuilding this industry we all love.”
“Visit USA is grateful to be part of such a resilient and passionate community of people and businesses.”
Brand USA Director Clinton White echoed her sentiments: “We were delighted to partner with Visit USA Australia for its annual Thanksgiving breakfast this year.”
“This day is always a very special time as it allows us to have gratitude, thank our valuable partners and celebrate just like our US friends and family do.
“Both Visit USA and Brand USA are invaluable in promoting multi-state visitation to the US, so it was a perfect fit to join forces for Thanksgiving.”

The Thanksgiving Day event also raised much-needed funds for OzHarvest to stop good food from going to waste and deliver it to charities that help feed people in need.
