Hamilton Island‘s peeking sun and warmer weather gently stirred dreaming Travel Agents out of their comfortable hotel beds on Saturday morning to kick start day two of Global Stars.
Dozens of consultants – some feeling withdrawals from all that day one drinking – gathered at the entrance of the Reef View Hotel where they boarded mini-vans for a quick trip to Hamilton Island’s wharf.
There, they strolled like celebrities passed crowds of tourists to their own private Cruise Whitesundays boat for a smooth 45-minute journey filled with laughs, morning tea and alcohol to the picturesque Whitehaven Beach.

Along the way, consultants were treated to a little Mother Nature surprise when a couple of whales popped in and out of the big blue near the boat.

Shortly after, Whitehaven’s pure white sand and crystal blue (and warm) water lured consultants off the boat to a special Global Stars set-up featuring dozens of umberellas across the beach, circular towels and picnic-baskets to be shared between two.
The only thing missing from the romantic set-up was Chris Hemsworth…
Ah well, next time.
The picnic was quite the treat and an opportunity to fill up on prawns, chicken and salad before enjoying beach-side activities such as cricket…

After a good three-to-four hours of sunshine, it was time for red-faced consultants to board the boat again, head back to Hamilton Island and give themselves a beauty makeover for the Global Stars Gala night.
