With over $1 billion invested by the public and private sectors during the pandemic alone, there have been some pretty big changes across the city.
Just a few of the highlights include:
- The launch of new attractions across all Gold Coast theme parks, such as Dreamworld’s Steel Taipan roller-coaster (the Southern Hemisphere’s first triple launch roller coaster) and also the immersive The New Atlantis precinct at Sea World;
- A state-of-the-art new arts and culture gallery expansion to the region’s growing Home Of The Arts (HOTA) precinct;
- Expanding the Gold Coast Dive Trail with the world’s first buoyant reef, Wonder Reef;
- And over 3,000 new premium accommodation rooms at The Langham, The Star Residences, and The Dorsett, not to mention the upgrades to existing properties at QT Gold Coast and The JW Marriott Resort Gold Coast.
