Many things are capital G great in Australia. The Great Barrier Reef. The Great Dividing Range. The Great Ocean Road and the Great Sandy Desert. And the Great Southern, which has just gotten even greater with its brand-new Brisbane to Melbourne route, commencing this December!
With over 200 places across Australia with ‘The Great’ in their name, once assigned, little is done to ensure it lives up to its grand expectations. We’re looking at you Great Marlow, NSW, population 184.
Not with the Great Southern, though.
As Australia’s newest rail journey, the Great Southern is always innovating. This is why, from 1 December 2024 to 28 February 2025, your clients can experience their innovative ways firsthand on the Brisbane southbound service, now with two disembarkation points: Melbourne or Adelaide.
With 24 departures across the season, there’s ample opportunity for your clients to slow down and be pampered this summer!
Woohoo!
Going to Great (Southern) lengths
The brand-new Brisbane to Melbourne route is a breeze to book and even breezier to experience.
The Great Southern offers your clients luxe cabins, attentive staff, and exquisite dining (and wine) for a slow travel experience that commands relaxation and presence. It’s an effortless vacay with everything included.
Great (Southern) expectations
When your clients choose to travel between Brisbane and Melbourne, they’ll not only enjoy three days on this inspired route addition but still experience the Melbourne Off Train Experiences that Great Southern guests rave about!
Melbourne travellers will conclude their tour at this point, where the Adelaide-bound folk will be re-embarking after lunch at Eureka 89 above the Melbourne Skydeck. They’ll even be reunited with their luggage to ensure they can enjoy Melbourne’s Off Train Experiences without a single burden.
Except perhaps the burden of wishing that they had booked their trip all the way to Adelaide because no one wants their journey to end when they’re THIS spoilt!
