Helloworld Travel has expanded its Queensland presence with the opening of a new store on the Gold Coast.
As well as growing Helloworld’s footprint in the burgeoning Gold Coast region, the new shopfront – inside Nerang Mall – marks a key milestone for one of its long-time members; the opening of Helloworld Travel Nerang signals co-owner Tina Pizzoni’s move into multi-store ownership, adding to her established agency in Rochedale.
For Pizzoni, the move builds on more than two decades in the industry, including her long-standing connection with the Helloworld and Harvey World Travel brands. Her Rochedale store has operated under her ownership since 2014.

Helloworld Travel Nerang co-owner Rechelle Dare also brings deep experience, having progressed through roles across the network before stepping into this new venture.
“Twenty‑one years ago, when Rechelle and I met on a travel famil trip in New York City, neither of us could have imagined that one day our shared love of travel would turn into a business together,” Pizzoni said.
“Today we are friends of twenty-one years, with decades of travel experience, and are now business partners.”

The expansion comes as demand for in-person travel advice continues to rise, particularly as travellers navigate ongoing global uncertainty. Helloworld says face-to-face consultation remains central to building confidence and delivering personalised service.
According to the group, the Nerang location offers a high-traffic, community-focused retail setting, supporting the brand’s strategy to strengthen its physical footprint in key markets.

“This store opening also reinforces the importance of bricks‑and‑mortar locations, particularly as travellers increasingly seek reassurance, expertise and personalised support through face‑to‑face consultation.” Helloworld Travel General Manager of Network Development Adrian Boccia said.
“Being involved in turning a long‑standing friendship into a business partnership is something extra special.”
Earlier this month, Helloworld’s Annabel and Ben Dolphin also celebrated a milestone in Queensland. Read more about that here.
