Trafalgar held its annual domestic team conference in Terrigal on the Central Coast earlier this month and while they were there they lent a helping hand at the local wildlife park.

The entire team came to Terrigal for the event including CEO Gavin Tollman along and Managing Director Jason Wolff.

The focus of the conference was to go through the latest product developments and brand innovations for 2020 and have some fun along the way.

The volunteering aspect came in to fulfil the brand’s JoinTrafalgar commitment to have a positive impact on the people and communities they visit. This, of course, expends to protecting wildlife and marine life and to caring for the planet.

The team volunteered at Walkabout Wildlife Park in Calga to make a difference at the home of so many native Australian animals.

The team underwent various activities from feeding the animals, cleaning equipment and the grounds with the rangers, watering plants, raking leaves and clearing up animal droppings.

“It was profound to see the tireless work that the Walkabout Wildlife Park does to protect and care for one of Australia’s greatest treasures, it’s native fauna”.

CEO Gavin Tollman

Gavin Tollman commented that there was nothing more rewarding than seeing their team engage with the animals and help the rangers caretake the facilities and clean the park.

He said this ensured that they were making their travels matter and leaving the places and communities they visit in better shape than when they had arrived.
