Now in its tenth year and widely recognised as Australia’s leading digital travel industry media brand and community, Karryon creates and delivers high-quality news and feature editorial, social and branded content, as well as multi-channel campaigns for our industry-leading travel partners.

We’ve got some hugely exciting plans for 2023 and beyond, and we are now on the hunt for a Sydney-based Partnership Development Manager to become an integral member of the team.

Your mission will be to drive the sustainable growth and success of Karryon’s partnership offerings, working with the team to evolve new and existing stakeholder opportunities while bringing fresh ideas and activity as you seek new partners and business leads.

Here’s what you’ll need to apply:

  • 2- 3 years minimum experience in a BDM/Partnerships/Sales role
  • Digital travel/lifestyle media/publication background highly desirable with experience and understanding of the travel eco-system
  • A successful track record of sales conversion
  • Proficiency with CRM usage (Ideally HubSpot) and Google slides
  • An authentic approach to selling and developing innovative campaigns/ experiences
  • Strong communication skills and a passion and curiosity for working with people
  • A demonstrated ability to strategically future-proof business in a previous role

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Prospecting, maintaining and growing relationships with key partners
  • Assisting across multiple areas of the business, primarily within partnership, event and sales opportunities
  • Working closely with the partnership and events managers to develop strategic and creative solutions for partners’ campaigns and developing new outreach strategies
  • Working cohesively with partnership, production and editorial teams to align partner expectations and liaise with partners on creative/campaign concepts
  • Developing strategic and creative solutions to partner briefs
  • Producing and delivering proposals, pitch documents and post-campaign reports for partners
  • Managing and updating weekly sales statistics in Karryon’s CRM to report to the team
  • Managing and producing invoicing, booking forms and signed proposals
  • Providing market intelligence on market trends and industry trends
  • Identifying opportunities to grow and develop Karryon 
  • Occasionally attending industry events and conferences as a Karryon ambassador
