Your responsibilities will include:

You will be responsible for leading and managing all strategic and operational functions of the University’s travel subsidiary company, CQU Travel Centre Pty Ltd trading as Travel Crew (the Company). This will include management of daily operations, sales strategy and growth development, financial management, oversight and problem solving, and leadership and administration of the Company’s human resources.

You will report to the Board of Directors on all matters relating to the strategic leadership and management of the Company.

Position requirements:

  • Extensive experience in the travel industry, with a deep understanding of corporate and leisure travel dynamics, trends, policies, and technology.
  • Experience in developing and executing strategic plans for business growth and continuous improvement.
  • Experience in financial oversight, budgeting, and managing financial performance to ensure the financial sustainability of the agency.
  • Ability to provide strong and effective leadership, fostering a positive work environment, and motivating teams toward common goals.
  • Demonstrated history of maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and effectively addressing customer feedback and complaints.
