The Council of Australian Tour Operators has announced its inaugural CATO Summit will take place on 12 June 2025 in Sydney with the half-day event designed to address the evolving needs of its members.
Exclusively for CATO members only, the 2025 CATO Summit will precede the annual general meeting (AGM) and a casual networking session and dinner featuring a guest speaker.
It will unite senior executives, business owners and industry leaders for a dynamic program of expert-led sessions, strategic discussions and high-value networking.

The 2025 CATO Summit will feature keynote presentations and targeted panel discussions addressing the most pressing challenges and opportunities facing tour operators and wholesalers.
These include legal compliance and risk management, insurance, travel tech, consumer trends in touring and much more.
In addition, the event will provide networking opportunities for members to connect with peers, partners and thought leaders.

The day will conclude with CATO’s AGM and members-only dinner at Watersedge at Campbell’s Stores in The Rocks in Sydney’s CBD.
CATO Managing Director Brett Jardine said registration information would go out to members soon, calling the CATO Summit a must-attend event to navigate complexity, capitalise on opportunities and strengthen businesses in a changing environment.
“The CATO Summit 2025 represents a major step forward in our commitment to support members with meaningful industry insights, practical tools and forward-thinking strategies,” he said.
Single tickets for the 2025 CATO Summit, lunch, networking session, AGM and dinner are $275 (including GST).
