INCENTIVE: NCL Rewards Agents With New Partners First Rewards Program

Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) is ringing in a new year of opportunity with the launch of yet another initiative to support travel agents in Australia and New Zealand: Partners First Rewards, the cruise line’s brand-new agent incentive program, is designed to recognise valued partners for their hard work, ongoing partnership and reward them for bookings made with NCL.

Exclusive to Australia and New Zealand, Partners First Rewards is the latest in a series of initiatives that have recently been rolled-out by NCL to provide its travel partners with the utmost support.

The program follows the recent launches of the line’s AUNZ Partners First Facebook group and Book-A-BDM (Business Development Manager) platform, which allows agents to book a personal session with their BDM at a time and in a way that best suits their business needs.

NCL also recently re-launched its dedicated online trade portal and resource centre, Norwegian Central, a one-stop-shop for travel partners in Australia and New Zealand comprising four main sections: Learn, Promote, Book and Connect – with Partners First Rewards set to become an integral part of the revamped portal.

The Partners First Rewards program comprises three key components, including:

  • Incentives: Agents will have access to exclusive incentives, which will allow them to earn points for submitting eligible, deposited bookings as well as for participating in NCL’s further incentives throughout the year. Points earned can be redeemed for Prezzee (AU) and Prezzy (NZ) gift cards, to name but a few, with other rewards to be announced soon.
  • NCL Legends: NCL will continue to reward top-selling Australian and New Zealand travel partners with a hosted sailing onboard one of its award-winning ships. Further details about the next NCL Legends opportunity will be shared soon.
  • Annual Awards: NCL will recognise top agent consultants and agencies for their 2021 achievements by hosting dinner events in respective territories in Australia and New Zealand early next year.

For the program’s first incentive, NCL is offering travel agents 20 Points (1 point = $1) on all bookings placed between 11 – 31 January 2021 for sailings from December 2021 and beyond.

To earn points, bookings are to be entered and deposited through BookNCL – accessible through Norwegian Central – or by calling NCL’s reservations team on 1300 255 200 (AU) or 0800 969 283 (NZ), and then submitted through the Partners First Rewards website.

Travel partners can register for Partners First Rewards by completing the registration form provided on the newly relaunched trade portal, Norwegian Central.
