One of the South Pacific’s most spectacular retreats, the Sofitel Bora Bora Private Island features its own private island or ‘motu’, just 150 metres long and 70 metres wide. Just a short two minute boat ride from the Sofitel Bora Bora Marara on the main island, the resort underwent a soft refurbishment and upgrade in 2012. The resort now offer just 31 villas and bungalows, including a private luxury villa, and is a stand-alone exclusive boutique hotel offering for guests who prefer a more intimate and secluded experience.

To better cater to guests, Sofitel has also added new dining and spa products to the private island resort. Manu Tuki restaurant, once open just for breakfast, will now open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, while a new ‘dinner under the stars’ experience complete with Polynesian performances has also been introduced.

Private Island guests have access to 360° views from the island’s lookout, plus access to one of the destination’s best snorkelling areas, known as the ‘coral garden’, which can now be more easily reached from the shore. [/colored_box]
