With the annual Cyber Sale still in full swing, Intrepid Travel has smashed its bookings record with a bumper day on Tuesday 22 November that saw the B-Corp travel company’s biggest sales day in its 33-year history.
This year’s Cyber Sale has up to 25 per cent off selected Intrepid Travel small-group adventures for 2023 until 2 December 2022.
Top-selling destinations booked by Australians in the Cyber Sale so far include Vietnam, Morocco, and Egypt with Premium trips also performing strongly.
Intrepid Travel Managing Director ANZ Brett Mitchell said the record-breaking results show that travel is definitely back, thanking travel partners and advisors for their pivotal role in achieving these results.
“These incredible results speak for themselves – travel is back for good. We’re seeing huge demand for sustainable, experience-rich travel as consumers become more aware of the impacts of their travels on the people and places they visit,” he said.
“We’re committed to providing [our partners and advisors] with the support, knowledge and tools to continue to deliver our small-group adventures to Aussie customers.”
New Intrepid sales team appointments
The record day comes as Intrepid continues to grow its ANZ sales team, adding more than 10 new Adventure Specialists since October to target market growth in the region.
Karen Shepherd has also returned as General Manager Sales and Customer Service.
With more than 15 years’ industry experience, Ms Shepherd joined Peregrine in 2006 as National Sales Manager, moving to the UK as Sales and Operations Manager for Peregrine and Geckos before leading the industry sales and customer service team in 2013.
