The Holiday Season is upon us and Chatrium Hotels & Residences kicked off the festive season with something really nice for special children.
Chatrium Hotels and Residences led by Ms. Savitri Ramyarupa, Managing Director, with management and Chatrium associates organized the very first Christmas & New Year Party outing for children from the Foundation for the Blind in Thailand under the Royal patronage of H.M. the Queen and The Foundation for Slum Child Care.
The activity started as Chatrium associates went to the Foundation for the Blind in Thailand under the Royal patronage of H.M. the Queen and The Foundation for Slum Child Care to pick up the children, which totaled 100, and took them on their first school outing to the Chatrium Ballroom at Chatrium Hotel Riverside Bangkok. Food and presents were offered as the children arrived.
The event saw very happy children enjoying food, music and singing. Those who were blind and partially sighted displayed their singing and dancing skill in a contest. Afterward, they ran around the hotel’s Ballroom with a face full of joy as if there were explorers. This unique initiative is part of Chatrium Hotels and Residences’ commitment to helping underprivileged children with a remarkable school outing, which may in turn develop their social skills.
